Estimates only

Rating Math gives estimates based on the VA's published rules and rate tables. It does not decide a claim, it does not tell you what rating you will receive, and the VA's decision is the only one that counts.

Not legal advice

Nothing on this site is legal advice or a substitute for an accredited representative, an attorney or the VA. For a claim or an appeal, consider talking to an accredited veterans service representative.

No affiliation

Rating Math is published by an individual publisher, named on the About page. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or any government agency.

Accuracy

We work to keep the calculator correct and show the date it was last checked. Rules and rates can change, so check the VA's own pages before you rely on a figure. If you find an error, please tell us on the contact page.

Limits

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, the publisher is not responsible for decisions made using these estimates.
